Spending time at the airport

It is amazing how time goes by. You just sit here, quietly, in an uncomfortable chair, musac playing in the back ground, people walking quickly to somewhere ... who knows where ... and you have no where to go. You just sit and wait. Life is out of my control. There are a million things to be done and not one of them is at my finger tips.  ... Well except for my blog!

It is the perfect winter morning on Woolaver Mountain. One foot of fresh white snow. The house is very quiet, everyone is still asleep (or not home)

It is hard for me to believe that in less that 24 hours I will be roasting in Brazil! One week away from home and the college ... so much to do! We don't have our tree yet, I haven't brought the 14 Christmas containers up to decorate the house, it is the busiest time of the year at work ... not to mention Christmas shopping! What to do. But for one more week, I won't be able to do any of that, I will have to settle into the heat, settle into smiling alot (mostly everyone speaks Portuguese) .... I can just nod and smile like I know what is going on. Wonderful food, wonderful people ... a ton of work.

I thought since I don't have much else to do I would start a blog! So here it goes.
